Heres my little contribution to the evenings entertainment. A table set in green, green and yet more green. I used my white with silver trim for this tablescape. I wanted the green to be the star of the table.
I must confess that curently I don't own any crockery with even the slightest hint of a little shamrock Or Lephracorn. So I have made do with throwing together as much of the green stuff (and I don't mean dollars) to create my St Patricks day tablescape.
I just wanted to show you the bottles that I have been collecting and how they come in so many different shapes and styles.
My asparagus votives originally came in three (always a good number in design) but, unfortunately I broke one.
Cute little votives with tiny shades.
So here it is, St Patricks day dinner!!
May all your pots at the end of the rainbow be filled with gold!

ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for your lovely comments. It certainly makes blogging much more fun when you know someone actually gets to see it. Not that it would stop me if no one saw it, I have far too much to say and if you read some of my earlier blogs then you will know that I usually do say it! I love tablescaping, (i had no idea thats what it's called)and now I get to share my passion with other like minded people. Once again thank you all....I am going to spend all morning looking at the other "Tablescape thursday" tables...I am so excited that I finally worked out how to do it!! HURRAY for me!!
ReplyDeleteSusan you are an absolute diamond for hosting this. Was it your idea or did you steal it from some other forum. Can you tell I'm really excited about it?? ha ha xx

I love the peaceful tone set by the translucent green glass. The greenbottles are fascinating. I admire your skill with an assymetrical design for your centerpiece. I'm the original 'Miss Symmetry', and I always think that some day, I'll branch out, but I never do in reality. Well conceived and executed. Thank you for sharing your wonderful design and for stopping by my post. Cherry Kay
